Jeff Connor
Dr Connor identifies opportunities to improve economic, social and environmental outcomes for natural resource management issues through assessment of policy option costs, benefits and tradeoffs. He is the leader for a group of CSIRO researchers who apply economics and geography to understand and manage complex issues at the human environment interface involving land, water, biodiversity, and climate change. Much of his efforts are in the area of integrated biophysical science applied to water resource management issues. He is leading CSIRO Water for a Healthy Country Flagship efforts to assess multiple costs, benefits, and trade-offs in setting new water sharing rules of the Murray Darling Basin
